The Africa bug bit us two decades ago…and we’re glad we never recovered.
We loved the thrill of each first-hand experience. The luxury of sundowners after an indulgent lodge based safari in a private concession, gentle Mokoro rides, the buzz at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium watching the Springboks challenge the All Blacks, Wildebeest crossing the mighty Mara, campfire chats on mobile camping expeditions, savouring artisanal cheese and wine to the sounds of Marimba music in Cape Town and so much more. Walking safaris amidst big game in South Luangwa, Zambia was as unforgettable as self-driving inside Kruger. Seeing the Okavango Delta from the skies and that ‘omg’ moment on a microlight flight over the mighty Victoria Falls made us appreciate the wonder of exploring Africa by jeep, foot, boat and skies!
